She always knew that some of the choices in life aren’t choices at all; they’re just the arrow of time constantly splitting into infinite quantum possibilities, with our souls adjusting, trying to find their way back home, to our reality. So she may have chosen to take a trip abroad but she did not choose to have her WALLY bag stuck out of reach on a train compartment. And she certainly did not choose for some guy to help her retrieve it. Nor did she choose for him to introduce himself and start a conversation. And it’s almost like she wants to say that it was a choice to fall in love with him, but that’s never really true, is it? And everything that followed after that ended up being not a choice at all – just her soul finding its way back home, to our reality. Still, there’s one thing she chose: she chose her bag. She chose it for the aesthetics and the quality of its craftsmanship. She chose it so she could use and travel with it anywhere. She chose to wear it – destiny did the rest. She chose her WALLY.
